Are you chronically online? Are you obsessed with our mochi donuts? Do you love all things social media - trends, design, typefaces, colouring, edits, and storytelling? We are looking for a Social Media Strategist that will be responsible for crafting and implementing a social media strategy that tells our story, shares our donuts, and grows our platform as we expand our brand! There is exciting growth coming for Isabella’s and we are looking to bring in someone that can support a refresh on socials and build content that keeps people scrolling!
This role requires someone who can manage the full cycle of content creation—ideating, filming, editing, and posting across IG and TikTok. In addition, the strategist will design eye-catching posters and graphics for both in-store promotions and digital platforms.
Our goal is to revamp our socials, not only as a brand refresh, but also to realign all community touchpoints with our ultimate goal as a company: to create joy and delight in every instance.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to grow our online presence and engage with our community.
- Ideate, film, edit, and post high-quality, on-brand content for platforms such as Instagram, and TikTok.
- Create visually appealing graphics and posters for in-store promotions, campaigns, and digital use.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and fostering community engagement.
- Track social media metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement in content and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with Isabella’s brand voice and promotions.
- Stay updated on social media trends and emerging platforms to keep Isabella’s content fresh and innovative.
- Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters as needed.
Your experiences and skills:
- You know socials inside and out. You have proven experience in social media strategy, content creation, and content marketing, whether it be working in an agency setting, running a brand’s socials, or growing your own!
- You can plan, produce, and edit content. You have great ideas, are willing to take risks and be creative, and have the work ethic to follow through on implementation and production. This is where your strong video production skills (ideating, filming, editing) and expertise in tools like Capcut, Premiere Pro, etc. will shine!
